Quilty Happenings this Week and Beyond

Are you sad that you won't be able to make it to the retreat this weekend?  I'm sad too, believe me!  You can still sign up here, but in case you need something to feed your modern quilting soul, Honey Bee Quilt Store is having an open house this Sunday, August 4 from 1-4.  You can meet their teachers and you may be especially interested in their new modern quilt classes starting soon!  I spied Jacquie Gering's wonky log cabin quilt made up as a class sample!

Want to fill up all your weekends with quilty possibilities?  I can help with that too.

August 10-11: Austin Shop Hop.  Spread the word!  I hear we may be having a meetup of some sort with quilters from San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston.  Wouldn't that be a blast?

August 23-24: A Rainbow of Quilts.  Show in San Antonio put on by the Greater San Antonio Quilt Guild.

September 13-14: Creative Memories Quilt Guild Show in Caldwell, TX

September 20-21: Golden Needles Quilt Show in Conroe, TX

September 27-28: Chisholm Trail Quilt Show in Round Rock, TX

October 11-13: Blanco Quilt Show in Blanco, TX

November 8-11: Quilt Retreat in Wimberley, TX

What's that?  You have families and jobs and can't make it to every single event?  Psshhh... they'd love to come along :)

  2. I think you left out the biggest one of all. International Quilt Festival in Houston, October 31-Nov. 3rd. Me and 66,000 other gals will be there to see the special Modern Quilt exhibit (and of course all the rest!)...!

    1. I wrote this post first and then added an Events page at the top of the blog. International Quilt Festival is definitely on that list, and a few other things too!
